Probably not, although it's nice to see that it has gotten a pretty decent audience.

We used to have a TV license in Finland, then they changed it to a tax that's collected from everyone whether they have a TV or not. People were against that of course but nobody did anything about it.

Funny that among the despicable Turkish Media, BBC Türkçe (Turkish) was the only mainstream one that seemed decent during our troubled times.. I've not been following news for quite a long time, yet BBC Türkçe was (and maybe still is) nice.

I'm an outsider of course, so it is hard (and to a great extent useless) for me to understand if a foreign news institution is corrupt and/or makes crowds biased. If I had to guess, I would say "yes" anyway, for almost all of the "big" ones.

Overall, it feels much better not to follow the media and not to watch any TV. I only check the headlines and summaries from Twitter, and rarely do I click and read the whole news. I haven't seen any benefits yet, conversely it is a waste of time in the best-case scenario.

Twitter is good. More than enough stimuli in a nutshell. And if you make a diverse and good selection of the accounts to follow, you're virtually immune to be biased.

TBH I only think mainstream media and the establishment is left-leaning on Immigration matters because they don't want to be a target of Radical Islam. Like Charlie Hebdo for example.
