Can you find a secret message in this poll?

(Feel free to vote even if you only know one option or think the name is cool, or whatever.)

Yes, the poll is an acrostic.

Yes, the poll is an acrostic.

This poll is agnostic, you say?

Seriously, I'm just glad it didn't make any heads explode with its amazing cryptic ineptness.

But that was the easy one...

Nah, that was the only one.

I don't think I would have figured out the hidden message if I didn't know the message was agnostic. Personally, I'm an atheist, but that's another story. Smile

The first letter of each poll option spells out a fun surprise, kids.

Vote goes to Soft Machine

Is spells out "A secret message in this poll" if you look at the first letter in the first option and then read downwards instead of across.

Voted Soft Machine naturally!

Great bands in this poll. I'll vote for the Incredible String Band, just for fun, since I think these are all great bands, who could win this poll and that would be fine with me.

This kind of reminds me of that one ELO song where you have to play it backwards to hear the message. Smile

This poll has two of my personal "big 5". I will vote for Art Zoyd over Can this time based on the size and strength of their overall catalogue, and because part of my Can fanship is based on solo works that shouldn't count here. Still even Art Zoyd can't reach the absolute peaks of Can's output.

Next time try an acrostic with a word jumble.

Egg is my favorite from this list.

Brilliant. This is turning into a backward-played Pink Floyd LP .

Ok right up front I'll admit that I don't know EVERY album by every band on here lol. Anyway, I was really tempted to vote for Art Zoyd as I've been really liking them a lot lately. But given that I literally meditated to MDK for months a while back, had to go with Magma for this one.

It was the first thing I looked for.
Why?
Because I remember this secret message that the Govenator Arnold sent his lawmakers when he vetoed another terrible bill.
