Two artists that share some similarities.

Both more or less equally but if I were under pressure I would probably go with Bowie. ;)

Yep. Enough for them to record a song together in fact. Wink

From a prog point of view, Bowie has the instrumentals on "Low" and some Rick Wakeman on keyboards.

This is a poll that cries out for a "neither" option.

I vote for both because "Under Pressure" was a great song. Smile

Queen. And in fact it's even not close. If they did nothing except Queen II, it's enough for me to give them vote.

My first impression is Queen, but then I think about other great songs by Bowie and I just can't choose.

It has taken me a long time to get into Bowie but finally it worked out. With Queen never.

Queen had 3 or 4 really good albums. Bowie has them beat.

they both have some amazing songs but not a huge fan of either but love the sonic sound of Queen more.

Not including Prog bands , for me Queen are the best band ever.
Bowie is a fantastic artist though and both knew how to make a splash that's for sure. Both also did great last albums (Innuendo and Blackstar)

I like both, but there's more Queen I want to listen to than Bowie, so Queen gets the vote.

I was a bit late getting into David Bowie. I only bought his 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th CD albums in 2016 shortly after he died when they were having a sale on at my local Sainsbury's store. The only David Bowie album I'd owned previously was the "Let's Dance" LP  album from 1983.

Equal, but I give the edge to Queen because their best albums are on par with Bowie's but it is hard to make an album as poor as Lodger.

Bowie's obviously great, but Queen's a huge favorite of mine since childhood so have to go with them here.

Yep as soon as I saw Queen playing Seven Seas Of Rye on TOTP I was sold. Weirdly though it was Bohemian Rapsody that put me off the band a little before I started getting interested in prog.
