No prizes for guessing who I'm voting for this time around. I'd only planned to have a Best British First, Second and Third Album poll originally, but the polls have proved so popular that we're now on the Seventh Album poll with one more still to come.
I'm predicting this poll is going to be a battle for first place between the YES Relayer album and Genesis' Trick of the Tail album.

Gonna go with A Trick Of The Tail, although Red comes very close.

Really would like to vote War Child in this, but to be honest, it´s Red. I believe it will give some challenge to Trick & Relayer.

Free Hand by some way over Relayer, TOTT and Floyd's often-neglected masterwork Obscured by Clouds. New England is also a very good album, but it isn't prog!

To be honest, I've never heard the New England album. I only included Wishbone Ash because they were in the first six album polls.

Red should win for Red and Starless alone... but there is something so special in my view of Trick by Genesis as a whole (maybe the shock of something so special even after Peter leaving) and my memories of buying and playing it non-stop at that time, that make it sneak pass.

Tough one. Too much great albums here. But in the end I vote KC's Red. Great great record. I have to say it even as I'm "Genesis man" and voting againt them is always hard for me :-) Yes's Relayer or JT's War Child are on my list of very good albums also together with Gentle Giant. Anyway it's Red, one of KC's best records.

As Steve already said, almost all their albums are little bit different, but if you don´t like Red, then you probably don´t like Starless & Bible and Larks. Have to say about Red there are really beautiful melodies in "Fallen Angel", "One More Red Nightmare" and of course "Starless". Also, one album you really should try is "Islands". It´s again a little different, maybe they´re quietest and darkest album.

I have also found some really great albums from the obscure albums, but most of them are obscure for the reason (of course many of them are good but not great). Have to say I listened in the weekend Julian´s Treatment album you have given five stars, well it was quite good, but not really five star album IMO...
