Unless I missed something these two were not nominated by any of the collaborators. Did you guys just collectively miss them. Not that there aren't a lot of fine albums on the list mind you. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I did notice that 11 was first available on their tour in November 2018 but the official release wasn't until January 2019... ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I've counted Focus 11 as a 2018 release (that was when I purchased it) so never considered it for 2019 . However I like the 2 preceding albums a lot more. I've got the Jan Akkerman album and it's very nice although it didn't exactly rock my world ( however nothing much in 2019 did) . I gave it my vote and I will also add it to my list so it doesn't get missed out altogether!

| ^ Weirdly it turns out that I don't own Focus 11 but just added it to my streaming library. Not the first time I've made that mistake! I've not properly listened to it but plan to do so this weekend. |
