After launching his first solo album entitled "Endeskrai" in 2019, Bowo Christantyo released his second solo album titled "A Trip to The Universe" on August 3, 2020. This second solo album was launched independently in digital platform on Bandcamp. Unlike the first solo album before, this time Bowo Christantyo returned to bring his musical concept with a full-band format on this second solo album, after previously in the first solo album titled 'Endeskrai ", Bowo only presented his music in a simple form by playing a few stringed instruments namely guitar (acoustic and electric), banjo, mandolin and ukulele.

In this second album, Bowo Christantyo presents music that consists of psychedelic rock, ambience, progressive and even a touch of jazz. Bowo was inspired by a German krautrock band called Ash Ra Tempel and his favorite psychedelic band named Pink Floyd in writing all the songs on this second solo album. In addition to this in his second solo album, Bowo wanted to show freedom in playing music with improvisation for all musical instruments involved in all the songs in it so that the music presented in this second solo album sounded widely but remained in the corridor.

The main theme carried in this second solo album is about exploration into space, especially in the search for new planets that can be inhabited by human. The choice of this theme is quite interesting because of Bowo's interest in matters relating to science-fiction and outer space. Therefore, all four songs in this second solo album are able to bring their listeners as if they were on a journey in outer space across planets and stars in outer space. This description of outer space can be heard clearly in all the songs in it entitled "The Universe Trip", "Star Debris", "Into the Orion" & "Space Phobia".

The music in this second solo album feels strong and very character because Bowo, who is a guitarist, is also assisted by two professional musicians like Rey Masli on bass and Shandy Satya on drums. Rey is a bassist for three rock bands namely Jumper-Fi, Mighty Sound and Weekend by Evidence and Shandy is an experienced jazz drummer. From that, you can imagine the music produced in this second solo album.
