I can't say I'm always drunk or drunk often. But I like to drink something decent featuring alcohol. In particular, I love the bottle design of De Kuyper liqueurs. There were times when I liked Jagermeister, now I can sometimes drink something less expensive of the kind, like Altmeister - which is a cola-flavoured relative of Jagermeister, also produced in Germany and generally speaking less resembling a medicine, more of a die-hard ginger brandy taste.

I no longer go into pubs, having once got drunk on two shandies, so I generally try and avoid anything alcoholic. I'd sooner have a nice cup of tea anytime, so I'm off now to put the kettle on again.

My current favorite is gin and tonic! Damn fresh and tasty.Wouldn't say I'm a sucker for any other type of alcohol right now.

I'm mostly into craft beers/ales (especially on tap), pinot noir and pinot gris, and single malt Scotch The most enjoyable beer I had was at a bar in Dublin, but I don't remember what it was. Still, I like a variety of beer. I do have Bailey's Irish Cream often.

I've been on the wagon for about a year. My favourite alcoholic drink was Blanc draft beer. Never tasted anything more delicious. (It is faaaar tastier than its bottle beer.)

I used to drink quite regularly back in the day. Back then scotch was my thing but now I'm into vodka (Grey Goose).

Hmm...like Logan I enjoy craft beers and ales..many types here in the US these day with all the new microbrewries...I also like Vodka tonics...Grey Goose and Ketel is very good but any quality Vodka will do. Over the last few years I have become a Bourbon fan and always keep a good bottle around...my favorite is Blanton's when I can find it..it is very highly rated so hard to get sometimes. Also good is Basil Hayden, Woodford, Bulleit, Makers Mark...and many others. My favorite 'liquer' is B&B(Benedictine and Brandy)....but Grand Marnier is also good.

This is exactly my cup of tea ... ... not tea of course. I have always liked some, mostly stronger beers, red wine and cognac. Since 2014 I have developed a taste for whisky, mostly single malts. My favourite is 16yo Lagavulin. I am less familiar with Bourbon; tasted a few, but I like it. My favourite this far is the Four Roses Single Barrel, which reminds me of a cranked up Metaxa.
I feel quite attracted to those Blanton bottles. They remind me of a Glenrothes I had one or two years ago: also distilled on one day, and bottled some 16 years later, but these bottles look somewhat like handgranades with those facets. This makes me curious after the content .

My friend Ryan likes Lagavulin...the 16 yr old one also. I prefer Bourbon...it's sweeter and no smoky taste but I won't turn down a glass of good single malt scotch. I finished a bottle of Four Roses about a month ago....good bourbon. Allegedly the best bourbon is Pappy Van Winkle but it is almost imposible to get a bottle...and I have yet to taste it. It goes for a small fortune per bottle and I'm simply not going to spend that much. What are your favorite beers/ales? I like a local one in my area called Three Floyds..they have several types that they brew and my favorite is a Scotish type ale called Robert the Bruce.

I walked away from alcohol about 35 yrs ago (in my mid 20's) for greener pastures. That being said...I certainly did have a few favourites.
1 - Black Russian (Traditional; Tia Marie & Vodka on the rocks, not that Kahlua crap) 2 - Harvey Wallbanger (Vodka,Orange Juice & Galliano) Sadly I used to have at least one of these most days before going to school (grades 10-12)
3 - Grand Marnier (warmed in a snifter) 4 - Root Beer Schnapps (Very hard to find these day I believe)

Craft beer or single malt. Tastes change. Not an IPA drinker anymore, prefer malty flavor. Local brew, Boulevard Bob's 47 Octoberfest, is on my all time favorite list, sucks it's seasonal. Stout's are also standard fare.

Drank a few Sam Adams Octoberfests on Friday...they make a decent Marzen. I used to like a good stout but I'm getting old and fat...need to watch that waistline......but I used to like to drink Youngs Double Chocolate Stout....awesome on tap if you can find it.

My village is surrounded by vineyards, so... Other then that, I would go with dr_wu23's friend Ryan and his Lagavullin (or most of the Islay whiskies), a good Cognac or Armagnac, or with good Belgium beers (Rochefort, Chimay...). No sweet things for me.

I haven't had any alcohol in about 6 years, but when I was in Australia, specifically, the Opera House bar, I had a drink with a name I can't remember, but it had pomegranate juice, passion fruit, vodka, and possibly rum. It was (finally) a drink that didn't taste like alcohol too much.
I drank Unicom in Budapest, but hear it's not the same if you buy it in the US.

Gave up all forms of alcohol 37 years ago when I was 26.
Had my favourites though. -Traditional Black Russian (Tia Maria/Vodka on the rocks) -Harvey Wallbanger -Root Beer Schnapps -Grand Marnier (warmed in a snifter)
-Soave Bolla (White Wine) -Brador (beer)
...and later that night anything that contained alcohol. Even stuff I couldn't normally stand (Southern Comfort).
But I'm much better now !

Trappist beers (Belgian, bien sur),
chosen French (not just red,
but dry whites as well) or Chilean wines (Carmenere, please), and
Scot single
malts (usually highland or speyside)
... and that's about it
stopped drinking for the sake of getting drunk decades ago, but it doesn't mean I never get toasted "by accident"

I haven't had an alcoholic beverage in over 20 years. Never had a problem with alcohol, just didn't care much for the taste. However, when I was in my 20s I used to like Tootsie Roll Cocktails. Very few places served this or knew what I was talking about when I asked for one.
All I drink now is water. I know. Boring.

Non alcoholic tea and lemonade mixed is called an Arnold Palmer after the golfer. That alcohol one might be good.

Its the day after Christmas and I am having a Breakfast Stout (Founders Brewing) with breakfast. I rarely have a drink in the morning but these guys named this correctly, with its strong coffee flavor this stout is great for breakfast. Americans finally learned how to make good beer.

Ive been making my own wine for years and make quite a lot of fruit flavoured Gin and Vodka.. but most of it ends up being given away through the year and particularly at Christmas. I do like the occasional quality Single malt and do like some of the Bristol micro brewery beers or just a good old Exmoor Gold

The only spirits I like are the band Spirit and... Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum Spirit of the Age by Hawkwind Spirit of Radio by Rush Spirit of Love by Johnny Hates Jazz Spirits Having Flown by the Bee Gees I'm more of a Martini or Cinzano kind of guy: - a third of a tumbler of red Martini, a third of concentrated orange & a third of lemonade with ice, neither shaken nor stirred, and not "anytime, anyplace, anywhere", but only at Christmastime in the late evening.

Now I hate alcohol. Recently I was very poisoned by alcohol and I also had severe depression. I didn't know how to deal with it. On http://www.canadadrugsdirect.com/" rel="nofollow - Canada Drugs I read that you need to exercise regularly, eat healthy food, listen to music, go to bed and wake up at the same time. Also there I read about sedatives. All these methods really helped me. Now I really have no desire to drink

Don't drink very often at all. English Sparkling wine with a nice meal out (remember those!!) and a very occasional Scotch and Canada Dry. Other than that, Mrs R made Damson Gin & Vodka from the fruit we picked from the garden in the autumn. The vodka wasn't great but the gin was lush!!!!

I don't drink much but when I do it's usually wine. Part of that is because I can no longer drink beer because of my gluten intolerance. I tend to prefer wines on the sweeter side such as moscato but really anything except super dry ones.

I only drink cask conditioned beer, which is normally sold in pubs, which are all shut. I live near York, which had the best range of beers in the UK - 314 different beers on tap on just one night. Lots of tiny microbreweries brewing ridiculously good beer. Favourites - Roosters Yankee, Brass Castle Misfit, Tim Taylors Landlord, Brew York Viking DNA. Favourite pubs: Mended Drum - Huby (nr York), Blue Bell - York.
