Head Control System are a progressive metal band from Portugal and Norway, formed in 2005 by Daniel Cardoso (bass, drums, guitars, keyboards) and Kristoffer "Garm" Rygg (vocals) from Ulver. They released their only album, "Murder Nature," on The End Records in 2006. Their music is a blend of modern progressive metal, alternative rock and gothic metal, similar to Katatonia (namely "Last Fair Deal Gone Down"), Gargoyl, Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle/Tool and Deftones.

Terrific! I first heard "Wonderworld" on an End Records sampler fifteen+ years ago and thought the band was special, so I'm happy they'll now be exposed to a wider audience of progheads.

I'm a big fan of Ulver and had no idea this project even existed.  So, I'm always happy to find anything with Garm involved.
