In the Silence are a Post Progressive Metal band originally from Sacramento California formed in 2008, known worldwide in the progressive underground for their album A Fair Dream Gone Mad, which was performed in it's entirety (save the instrumental Close to Me) at the Prog Power USA 2013 Thursday night kick off. The band split in 2017 but reformed in early 2020 to release a new single "Familiar Places."

According to the submission rules.....

" b) Provide an original biography written by the suggester (for addition) ... not copy nor paste via the artist's page (except permitted by himself / herself / themselves), an artist's pic (with the scale of 500 pixels or more)."

The above bio does not have enough information about the band and a picture of the band is not included.  The genre teams are cracking down on submissions and making sure they are following the submission rules.  Bios must be written by the person posting the original thread and must include a write up that can either be used for the band's page, or have plenty of information so that a bio can be written from it and the information can be verified.

I feel more information needs to be provided about the history of the band with a list of influences named by the band itself or a list of bands that they are similar to.

I wish I had a time machine so I could find the time to write the bios myself.  Unfortunately, I don't :(

BTW, I think there are very few of us here that can write like poets, myself included.
