I think the last option is for those who dislike neo-prog LOL not for better songs that are antonyms for the song titles LOL

Didn't know Collage nor Majestic, so I listened to those tracks... Collage sounds very good, and very much influenced by... Marillion. Pleasant listen! Majestic sounds too formulaic to my ears. But the star is Marillion here, not? Hogarth is sublime on this track and the band as solid and melodic as they can be - and I very much like the whole album (one of their better H-era stuff, imo).

Collage - Moonshine is a neo-prog masterpiece IMO. Some Pink Floyd and Marillion influences are obvious in that... but... is Marillion too original?

I'm gonna vote either for Collage or Marillion. I'll decide on this later.

Moonshine is the only Collage album worth checking out and I agree it's a great album.

Is anyone too original? Marillion created their own sound, we can see their influences, obviously, but if you ask me they've always made interesting music.

^ Sure. No problem at all. But 2 people declared their preference on behalf of Collage, while their song has gotten only 1 vote yet... Ermm

^ You might consider one just as a write-in vote then (at least for now since that vote may be be cast in the poll options later). I'm one of those who generally doesn't much care about the poll results and am more interested in the comments and discussion. I'm not one of those who would rather have remained in the dark, but I checked out bits and pieces from all of these and none were turning on my light switch. No vote at this time. Maybe I'll come back and give a proper listen later.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

^ Yep. Actually I use "extreme" smileys (like shedding eternal tears, or letting out infinite laughters) generally when I'm not too serious. And I'm not generally too serious on the internet. Star

^ I'm not too serious much of the time -- often a combination of lightly joking around and serious, or just plain seriously silly. And when I use a crying emoticon, it's often followed with a wink (or at least an implied wink). I do feel bad sometimes when I feel people are called out for this or that (not in this case however), but mostly after I'm the one to have done it.

As long as it's not being questioned with , , , ..., it's good.

Moonshine album does not get enough credit for being an outstanding Neo record.  Collage here, even though Marillion is much more consistent overall.

Went with Collage's Living in the Moonlight. Such a soulful song.

Afraid of Sunlight for me.  Has some sentimental value as well as poignancy of the lyrics and music.

Collage...Living in the Moonlight is beautiful, and Moonshine is quite possibly my favourite neo prog album, and I certainly prefer Collage and its offshoots to Marillion

Neo-prog existed approximately between 1980 and 1985...
