Sadly there are some Project albums, such as The Turn of the Friendly Card (1980), which don't have an instrumental opener.

I very much like all of these five pieces. It's either 'Voyager' or 'A Dream Within a Dream', I vote later.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

"I Robot" is by far the winner here, although "Sirius" and "Voyager" are both very good.

"Lucifer" seems like an attempt to re-create "I Robot" that of course falls far short.

Even though one is probably the best for dribbling a basketball to, my favorite is "irobot."

'I Robot', and a perfect album, by the way!

Surprised to see a clear winner in this poll, I thought the race would be much more even.

Poor 'Voyager'! Cry I love the way it grounds the album's airy soundscape.

(I voted the first option -- such a powerful introduction to the 19th century horror atmosphere of Edgar Allan Poe's tales.)

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I Robot for me. A Dream Within a Dream and Sirius are great as well, but sound too short and incomplete without being followed by the next track.
