-but hey don't you guys ever just write what you think - without thinking too much? I do. And while I don't get personal*, openly disliking some kind music (like 90's prog) isn't something I consider any worse than writing that Robert Wyatt and Roy Harper can't sing (which they surely can).

*except sometimes, if Moshkito or that Dr. Prog writes something that rubs me the wrong way

^^ Drew's (BrufordFreak's) polls feature the more esoteric side of prog, so I think they would be much more to your eclectic tastes, whereas my tastes are firmly rooted in classic Symphonic Prog and Neo Prog, but are you seriously saying there's not one album in this poll that remotely appeals to you? Eloy's Ocean 2 was actually a good surprise after ten years of duds. Unfortunately it got followed by more than 20 years of horrid output after that. This one gets my vote though (although I was hesitating with Pallas' Beat the Drum...).
