Okay, you have to go to a Alien Planet if Earth is to survive, and you can only bring one album from each PA subgenre. All albums you bring must be recorded in the year 2010 or later, as the aliens have destroyed all progressive rock (true prog) before then. So what music do you bring? Choose as many subgenres as you wish.

(Canterbury) Phil Miller In Cahoots - Mind Over Matter (2011)
(Crossover) Thank You Scientist - Maps of Non-Existent Places (2012)
(Eclectic) Bubblemath - Edit Peptide (2017)
(Heavy) Haken - Visions (2011)
(Jazz Rock/Fusion) Pat Metheny - From This Place (2020)
(Neo) The Psychedelic Ensemble - The Tale of the Golden King (2013)
(Post/Math) Covet - Technicolor (2020)
(Prog Folk) Charlie Cawood - Blurring into Motion (2019)
(Prog Metal) Fates Warning - Theories of Flight (2016)
(Rio/Avant) Mirthkon - Snack(s) (2013)
(Symphonic) Echolyn - I Heard You Listening (2015)
(Tech/Extreme) Intervals - Circadian (2020)

If aliens have destroyed all prog made before 2010, I'd rather just die with the planet.

I hate the genres and subgenres division, it is prog or not. So, in that vein:

Transatlantic The Ultimate Universe
Rick Wakeman: The Red Planet
Eric Gillette: The Great Unknown
Airbag: All Rights Removed
Alan Parson: The Secret.
Rocket Scientists: Supernatural Highway

Long live Progresive music!

If all progressive music is destroyed, that would be my death also.

But it's not. Just stuff before 2010.

Clearly this is an attempt to discuss newer music rather than rehash tirades on the classics. And I, for one, am here for it. It'll give me more to add to my "to listen" list.

Unsurprisingly, Edit Peptide would also be on my list. I have now heard Metheny's entire discography, and From This Place is indeed an amazing piece of work, so that would be a decent choice for me as well.

Art Zoyd - Phase V (RIO/Avant)
Zopp - Zopp (Canterbury)

I would like to bring one more album with me, but I can't, as it's from the same sub-genre as one I've already
listed. What I can do, though, is to tell that it's

Hypnos 69 (B) - Legacy (2010)  Big smile

I can't make the list. Just with Canterbury I have already 4 albums I wouldn't give up to, and it0s not my favorite subgenre.

Those aliens can't be so deaf. They must have taken the good stuff to their own planet, and made us believe they destroyed it.
