2021 is the first year of which I have made a Top 20 to take part in the album of the year here.

As a consequence I heard a good number of these, but Shamblemaths is the only one that even scratched at the Top 20 (I had it around 20, don't remember whether it finally was in or out).

Some excellent albums there, but Mostly Autumn really excelled on Graveyard Star, an album which was their third superlative release in a row.

A lot of good albums this year. I'll plump for Frost* over BBT and Transatlantic.

2021 was a good year. Having said that, Steve Hackett gets my vote. While recovering from chemotherapy, I listened to it a lot, making my days a lot better.

I have bought 64 2021 releases, none of them are on this poll. Hey Ho.

That's 64 more than I've bought, and if it wasn't for ProgArchives, I wouldn't have known any of the albums in this poll. Embarrassed

I voted for Transatlantic, but I'm disappointed you didn't include the Neal Morse band's excellent Innocence and Danger.

There's not much love here for the latest album by YES. Why am I not surprised. Tongue

Just when you thought Frost* would never win another prog poll after their acclaimed Milliontown album, they came back with another remarkable album for this Day and Age, which was underrated by me, but not by anyone else here, apparently. Smile

Frost* just over Hackett .

(Massive BBT fan but they are at a crossroads right now. A new album is due for release next year with the ex PFM vocalist Alberto Bravin. Excied for the new possibilities and a new line up.
