| Totally different styles of guitar playing. Martin Barre's playing is (IMHO) far more melodic and interesting. Mick Abrahams is very good, but somewhat generic. I prefer his work with Blodwyn Pig. |

Mick Abrams has always been a straight blues player, and quite a good one. Of course I’ll vote for Martin Barre, even though I like Mick Abrahams very much. Tull got it’s progressive side when Martin joined, and remained relevant because of his guitar work.
