Just revisited Alder's FW recently - such an underrated group! - and discovered everybody loving Parallels and barely noticing Inside Out. It's the exact opposite for me, Inside Out is like a better, enhanced version of what the band was trying to achieve with Parallels - peaking with Disconnected later  Your thoughts?

I'm one who prefers Parallels and I agree Igor that they peaked with Disconnected. Perfect Symmetry was my favourite Adler disc before Disconnected came out. I just found Parallels a step down from Perfect Symmetry and Inside Out a step down from Parallels. Just my feeble opinion of my favourite Metal band. Possibly their final album, and an outstanding one. "The Longest Shadow of the Day" is one of the best songs of their career. I don't think Fates peaked with Disconnected, though.
