I made two polls earlier with tracks included in PA from 1965 to 2023 with one representative per every five year period and one for tracks not in PA for every five year period from 1960 until 2023.
Here is a list of those in the poll. It has some of the usual suspects from me and one duplication of band (bot not album or track) from my previous list -- I'm a Portishead-head.
The Tornadoes "Ridin' the Wind" (Telstar: The Sounds of The Tornadoes, 1962) Dr. John, the Night Tripper "I Walk on Guilded Splinters" (Gris-Gris, 1968) Funkadelic "Maggot Brain" (Maggot Brain, 1971) Nina Hagen Band "Naturtrane" (Nina Hagen Band, 1978) Joy Division "Decades" (Closer, 1980) Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Your Funeral My Trial" (Your Funeral My Trial, 1986) Portishead "Roads" (Dummy, 1994) Boards of Canada "Aquarius" (Music Has the Right to Children, 1998) Air "Radian" (10 000 Hz Legend, 2001) PJ Harvey "The Mountain" (White Chalk, 2007) Sufjan Stevens "Age of Adz" (The Age of Adz, 2010) Vanishing Twin "Cryonic Suspension May Save Your Life" (The Age of Immunology, 2019) Lingua Ignota "Pennsylvania Furnace" (Sinner Get Ready, 2021)
This is a playlist of the tracks in the poll in case anyone wants to check out any of the tracks.
Multiple votes allowed, please vote for up to three (or more if such limitations are too restrictive for you).
Feel free to vote even if you have very limited knowledge.

Those Dr. John and Portishead-songs have been favorites for decades. And almost anything on Sinner Get Ready would have gotten my vote. I get goosebumps just reading the Pennsylvania Furnace-title.

Something tells me Logan is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Portishead fan, as he mentions the band frequently and sneaks them into every poll he can. ;)

^^^ Love that Air track. Bowie's Blackstar has a similar feel in part.
^^ Pennsylvania Furnace is amazing. Thanks again for exposing us to Lingua Ignota; it had a huge effect on me.
^ And yes, I'm a big Portishead-head (aka fan), and I like to play their music in the Portis head (the head term we used in the navy for the toilets/ WC) or in the portable outhouse which I like to call the Portispotty (it's actually a TARDIS disguised as that). Only been into the band for a few years.

Today for just three, I go with: Lingua Ignota "Pennsylvania Furnace" Sufjan Stevens "Age of Adz" Boards of Canada "Aquarius"

Nice list again, many that I like, but I'll keep it to three votes with Nina Hagen Band, Vanishing Twin and Lingua Ignota (closely followed by Portishead, Boards of Canada, Air and PJ Harve).

Wow! So tough to choose only three! I'd really like to give all three of my votes to "Naturträne" … may I?

To answer seriously, mostly....
"Naturträne" is awesome -- reminiscent of Focus' "Hamburger Concerto". Technically, yes, but I'd rather not. That could in way encourage forms of exploitation and abuse in multiple choice polls. Give some people an inch and they will take a mile. On the other hand, give some people a mile and they will take an inch. Others will only do metric.

This list was less to my liking. I voted for Boards of Canada, Air and Vanishing Twin.

A tough one as always. Mood of the day dictates that Lingua Ignota, Sufjan Stevens, Portishead and Joy Division have to content themselves with an honorary mention, and votes go to Boards of Canada, Vanishing Twin, and Nick Cave.

Tough choices. Voted for Funkadelic, Air, and Vanishing Twin.

Dr. John - I Walk on Gilded Splinters
Joy Division - Decades
Nick Cave - Your Funeral My Trial
Easy choices for me. I used to be the biggest Nick Cave fan back in the day, but in the last few years I haven't got much out of him, even the old stuff that I loved. This song, however, is one of the few that have stayed.
