Artist photo https://images.app.goo.gl/GPcRyJmwQBxKKLct7 The Stark Reality was a little known jazz rock band from Boston Massachusetts, in 1970 they would release a double LP called "The Stark Reality Discovers Hoagy Carmichael's Music Shop", a reimagining of children's album by songwriter Hoagy Carmichael to be used for the show Hoagy Carmichael's Music Shop which aired on PBS. The band sound is a fusion of mostly improvised jazz(bebop and soul jazz) and psychedelia, all coming together to make a unique sounding (and slightly avant) prog fusion album. Please excuse the long wait. Our team has built up an extensive backlog after a long spell of inactivity and we are only now getting to clear artists that were suggested to us in 2022.
