Awesome!!! I just recently got Chris Herin's solo album. He is better known for being in Tiles, but after Tiles disbanded he joined Discipline.. It was also mastered by Terry Brown with artwork by Hugh Syme. It included a ton of guest appearances as well, including Alex Lifeson and Discipline's Matt Parmenter.

I'm very excited for this. Last one wasn't my cup of tea at all, but I think they can top it and will continue to support them!

I'm pretty excited. It's a shame that Hugh Syme is now a mere "prompt engineer" for AI slop though. :(

Hi. Just a minor clarification. Terry Brown mixed the album (not mastered). Hugh Syme doesn't use AI. It's a shame AI can mimic Hugh's style. It makes things confusing. Anyway, I appreciate the mention of my solo album. Matthew Parmenter contributed several lead vocals and lots of instrumentation. Terry produced and mixed the album. All the details are at www.chrisherin.com .... anyway we're looking forward to getting the new Discipline album released and appreciate the enthusiasm.

Quote Hugh Syme doesn't use AI.
Which is a lie. Hugh Syme is a hack. There is tons of evidence, the most notable of which is the Parasomnia cover for Dream Theater.

But anyway, I'm quite excited to hear what the new Discipline record got in store. IMHO Matthew Parmenter is a musical genius in its own right, so my high hopes are of course there. :)

I haven't been up to date with the band's lineup for a long time. Does anybody know why Paul Dzendzel doesn't play in the band anymore?

Paul D. is technically not "out of the band." A couple years ago Paul took a job as a camera man for Court TV and is out town nearly all the time. We had actually rehearsed all the songs with Paul, but didn't get them recorded before he took his new gig. Matthew P.'s son Henry is getting a music degree and is quite a good drummer (as you'll hear) so things just worked out that way for the time being.
