I like Norway prog on different styles, specially: Airbag and Bjorn Riis Gentle Knife Gazpacho Soup Fruitcake
Some of this bands not play now but I like it. Airbag start on Pink Floyd line but actually they have a own style. Gazpacho is a symphonic band on line with the classics. I love Gentle Knife with a different style and two great albums.
What do you think about this bands?

Honestly never found Gazpacho/Bjorn Riis and Airbag that interesting but they are okay. If I'm going to get my rocks off to any Norwegian prog it's normally Elephant 9 especially the Psychedelic Backfire albums but predictably I also like the symph stuff from Wobbler and LFF. Norway has a wide music scene covering Jazz, Prog, Metal and Hard Rock. It's the market leader if you like great prog music.

Some of my fave albums from Norway:
Susanne Sundfør - Ten Love Songs (2015) Terje Rypdal - Bleak House (1969) Motorpsycho and Ståle Storløkken - The Death Defying Unicorn (2012) Ulver - Perdition City (2000) Jan Garbarek Quartet - Afric Pepperbird (1970) Elephant9 & Reine Fiske - SIlver Mountain (2015) Jaga Jazzist - What We Must (2005) Shining - Blackjazz (2010) Soup - Remedies (2017)
Shamblemaths is a popular one in prog circles, but still not got into it as much as I likely should have. Wobbler I have enjoyed some of, but it's too derivative of classic symph prog for me (I prefer retro Krautrock for instance). I've liked various Green Carnation, and Major Parkinson... Norway is very strong for Prog, but quite a lot of it that it is known for in Prog is not very progressive (has retro qualities). Course there is lots of black metal from Norway, and a strong jazz scene. One of my favourite albiums of this year is from Jenny Hval with Iris SIlver Mist (not Prog really, but she is related to my ear for her art pop).
I guess a-ha is about the biggest "modern" music act to come out of Norway, but was not well known to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vmS9-1-3tA&list=RD4vmS9-1-3tA" rel="nofollow - Take on prog
------------- Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Back before the New Year, Apollon Records had a really good sale and I went a bit crazy with some purchases. I picked up albums from Adventure, Guranfoe, Laughing Stock, Major Parkinson, Pixie Ninjas, Professor Tip Top, Pymlico, Ring Van Mobius and a number of others. I'm not sure if they were all from Norway, but I know that a number of the artists are.
Oddly enough, I was watching the Scorpions' MTV unplugged concert a few weeks back and a-ha's singer made a guest appearance. On a whim, I bought a 5-album classic album set from them to check them out. Admittedly, I only recognized "Take On Me" but there is some pretty good listening on those albums.
I've been recently going through an 80's pop phase with bands like Talk Talk, Talking Heads, 10,000 Maniacs and Natalie Merchant, Simply Red and Simple Minds. All bands I either missed or really didn't care for back in the day. Hence my decision to check out a-ha.
