They are a great Italian band, very proggy in intentions (aside the fact they have no guitars nor drums nor so much keys...well, they are mainly a string quartet with some saxes and an INCREDIBLE singer, John de Leo).

You just have to listen to them: the singing is absolutely marvellous, spacing from classic singing to a very personal approach to hip hop (in Raptus, a three part suite with a concept rooted somehow in Pirandello) to a theatrical recitation.
Everything they did is worth of listening.
Some highlights: Precipitango, Bentivoglio Angelina (presented at Sanremo Festival), Raptus, Highway Star (yes ;)).

Do you have any sources where an mp3 can be found for sampling
purposes?

I know, even in Italy is VERY difficult to find their albums (I bought today the last one, "In Cattività", after years of searches, but cannot find the others).
For mp3, I searched but uselessly. Only the illegal ways will work I think :D
(what a shame)

Truly I don't know, but HS is the only one of which I heard. Great one, indeed.
