Ok, so here's my recommendation of the week:
Ephel Duath - Pain Necessary to Know This is a really nice album - very experimental, technical and with freaky Jazz passages. It's quite extreme ... well, it alternates between Dillinger Escape Plan, Sieges Even and pure (non-metal) Jazz improvisation. I'll write a review soon ... but not before the weekend. Well, I know the full album and I can say that the vocals are not as annoying as on Dillinger Escape Plan albums - they're not all over the place, and blend better into the overall concept. But of course some people will not like this type of vocals regardless of the way which they are implemented.

Actually I quite like Opeth, including the vocals. I think they fit very well. I just didn't like the distortion that this particular band use.. well, upon first listen anyway. I'll guess I'll try again  |

Yeah..... I would really like to make a review of painter's palette but i have the songs only on the computer..... This cd can't be found out there. This "jazz" metal sound is amazing and I kinda like the extreame vocals -------------

I disagree... I don't see the conection with KC... It's more like some Fantomas, some Arcturus and jazz/fusion passages. It's very weird to listen a trumpet in Metal  . The drummer is very good too!I don't think the vocals are that bad... at least they fit the music  and sometimes are quite enjoyable.Anyway. Ephel Duath r00l5!!  (Listening The Painter's Palette  Planning to do a review... but I'm a very bad writer  )------------- I'm not antisocial, I just don't like wasting my breath... |

Islands, Thark [haven't finished listening this one] ). Wait... yeah
