I've heard eleven Yes albums and I love them all! (Keep in mind i've never heard Big Generator, Union or Tormato)
As for my other favourites -
- Pink Floyd - Most likely studio side Ummagumma (the live side is great!)
- King Crimson - never heard a bad one! but this may shock you, my least favourite is In the Court of the Crimson King, though I do still love it. I much prefer Lizard and Larks Tongues in Aspic
- Genesis - From the six i've heard from Nursery Cryme to Wind and Wuthering, I would say Nursery Cryme, but then again that's a great album
I've sort of noticed that i've never heard a terrible album by any of my favourite groups

Yes - The Ladder/Open Your Eyes
Mike Oldfield - Earth Moving
Rick Wakeman - too many to mention
Strawbs - Heartbreak Hill
Caravan - The Album
Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Somewhere In Africa
Tangerine Dream - Dream Mixes
There is no bad Floyd album

I Can See Your House From Here is my least favourite Camel album, but it's still not that bad; 3*. It has its moments.
Genesis' worst is From Genesis to Revelations which is utter bilge.

As for myself...
Genesis-Calling All Stations, which is possibly the single worst album I think I've ever heard by anyone... which is a pity, because I think I think I their early work is the true peak of prog.
King Crimson-Maybe Thrakattack, though if you're really in the right headspace, you can actually enjoy it.
ELP-Uhm... don't know, probably Love Beach. Never heard In the Hot Seat.
Yes-Don't know... anything after 1980, except 90215, which is actually pretty good pop.
Peter Gabriel: Roughly half of So. But only half of it.
Zappa... too many to love, too many to hate.

album, only an experiment, then they corrected their mistakes and went on
to BIG,HUGE,music...falling into mediocrity is much worse than having a

PINK FLOYD: UMMAGUMMA (STUDIO SIDE) OR OBSCURED BY CLOUDS
RUSH: FLY BY NIGHT
MARILLION: THIS STRANGE ENGINE
FLOWER KINGS: RETROPOLIS
PALLAS: BEAT THE DRUM
PORCUPINE TREE: IN ABSENTIA (ALTHOUGH I STILL QUITE LIKE IT)
PENDRAGON: BELIEVE (ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T HEARD THEIR FIRST TWO YET)

Genesis -- Abacab
Tull -- Under Wraps
King Crimson -- In the wake of Poseidon
Yes -- Open your Eyes
Flower Kings -- Garden of Dreams (I've never been able to get into this one, although I LOVE everything else)
Pendragon -- Believe (Very disapointed with their last entry)
Marillion --Radiation
Porcupine Tree (Deadwing -- I know, it's a favorite for a lot of people: it has great moments, -- not a bad one, but by far the weakest from their whole catalogue, which I own!)

- Iron Maiden - Virtual XI Oh my god, this is freakin' crap from a band like Maiden!
- Yes - 90125 An album you can listen to, but still pretty lame from Yes.
- Metallica - Reload I don't consider this one so horrible as people claim, but still a dull album. Why are everyone BTW dissing St. Anger that much? I find it a very OK album.
- Pink Floyd - Momentary Lapse of Reason I don't own this album, but the songs I've heard are boring.
- Megadeth - Risk This one has got a couple of OK songs, but still a horrible album.
Then there is Jethro Tull, YUP and Rush, but I haven't heard that much Tull, and Rush and YUP haven't got any bad albums! I own 8 Rush albums (of 18) and everyone of them are good or great, just like with YUP (with 6 of 10 albums).

The only things that let down Presence are -
- It followed Physical Graffitti
- It has no acoustic numbers and sometimes sounds a little too dark
However I feel the album is a right gem! And it has my favourite Zep track (most of the time), the 11 minute opus "Achilles last stand"

Of my favorites:
(These are not necessarily bad albums. Just the weakest from each artist/group.)
Frank Zappa - Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch or The Man From Utopia
King Crimson - Beat
Gentle Giant - Civilian
Jethro Tull - Under Wraps
Yes - Talk
ELP - In The Hot Seat (although, at the time of release, I was more disappointed in Love Beach)
Utopia - (any studio album after Adventures In Utopia)
Spock's Beard - Octane
Echolyn - Cowboy Poems Free
Crack The Sky - Dog City

HOTSPACE!!!
Pink Floyd--Piper at the Gates of Dawn (decent album, but weakest from the Floyd)
Rush--Fly By Night. It has a few good spots but overall not up to the standards they set later in their career.
Genesis--Foxtrot. Its also my most recent Genesis purchase so it has head less time to sink in.
Jethro Tull--Minstrel in the Gallery although I've only heard 8 or 9 of their albums out of 30 or more.
Dream Theater--Awake. Space-Dye Vest is absolute genius...their finest moment. The rest fails to impress.

I don't have every album by all of my favorite bands, so I'm gonna guess some.
Iron Maiden - No Prayer for the Dying (this one I actually do know for sure)
Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force - Facing the Animal (I'm pretty sure, because I've heard good stuff from Magnum Opus and War to End All Wars, which supposedly rank among the lowest)
Planet X - None (they only have two studio albums so far, and they're both great)
Symphony X - (self entitled debut) (Just a guess based on the reviews)
Judas Priest - Jugulator, Demolition, Turbo, Ram it Down (It's probably one of those. I've heard good stuff from Ram it Down, so it' can't be that. Turbo Lover wasn't that bad either. I guess it's up to the Ripper era albums, which I've heard nothing from)

Yes - Big Generator
King Crimson - Islands (this is the ONLY album they have released that I don't like. I absolutely adore every single incarnation of Crimson except this one.)
Genesis - I've only heard Nursery Cryme through A trick of the trail, and they were all phenomenal.
Radiohead - Pablo Honey; i hate it.
Muse - Showbiz (a fantastic album, but the other albums are MILES ahead of this one in my opinion.)

Led Zeppelin - Coda (1.5/5) ... A bunch of weak outtakes
Pink Floyd - A sauceful of Secrets (2/5) ... Either weak or unlistenable. Good opener though.
Genesis - Calling All Stations (1/5) ... I can't believe Tony Banks did something as horrible as this! Boring beyond words!
Flower Kings - RainMaker (3/5) ... The band never released a weak album, but this is easily the least interesting. It has some boring short songs and the incredibly incoherent "road to sanctuary"
Yes - Union (1.5/5) ... weak, weak, weak, weak album coming from people like Howe and Wakeman. Dissapointing as heck.
Dream Theater - Train of Thought (3/5) ... Not bad, but somewhat dull and longer than necessary. Some riffs and solos are pretty uninspired, and the keyboardist is easily at his worst here. The long instrumental saves this from being a 2 star album
Emerson Lake and Palmer - In The Hot Seat (1/5) ... Embarrasing. Only "Hand of Truth" is ok.

The first album I've heard from DT was Images and Words in '93 and I loved it! (the only DT albums I still do love are the first two) Scenes is the worst example how a band is "forced to go back to their roots" after the relative failure FII. I'm sure that everybody who consider SFAM as DT's best effort started listen to them after 94-95. I also cannot enjoy the following albums, I think very few people like and can bear more than 2-3 consecutive DT albums. They have became the most predictible progmetal band years after which I really regret.

that everybody who consider SFAM as DT's best effort started listen to
them after 94-95. I also cannot enjoy the following albums, I think

They have became the most predictible progmetal band years after which

My favorite prog bands's Hall of Shame:
YES - "Tormato" - boring and uninspired (please note that I do not count "Open Your Eyes" as an Yes album).
ELP - "In the Hot Seat" - sold mine after just two or three listenings.
KING CRIMSON - "Three of a Perfect Pair" - what the hell Mr. Fripp was thinking about when he released this album?
PROCOL HARUM - "Something Magic" - even "The Well's on Fire" got better songs than this one.
TRIUMVIRAT - "Russian Roulette" - the worst prog album of all time.
PINK FLOYD - "The Division Bell" - wish you were here, Roger Waters!
GENTLE GIANT - "Giant for a Day" - ... and damned for a lifetime... What a perfect way to spoil a perfect career!
GENESIS - "Calling all Stations" - I never thought that I would miss Phil Collins.
RUSH - "Hold Your Fire" - it's better than some of the aforementioned albums, but it's still the worse thing they have released.
JETHRO TULL - "Under Wraps" - a perfect definition for the word "torture". "Under Wraps #2" is a great song, however.

| I love IAW and Awake. But after these 2 albums they started to decline.
SFAM and FII are quite in the same league. FII is underrated, SFAM is overrated.
I enjoy 6DOIT, but their latest 2 albums do almost nothing to me. Not really bad, just mediocrite, but sometimes awfully mediocrite.

Jethro Tull - Under Wraps (it's not the musical direction, it's the terrible songs that I hate)
Rush - Test For Echo (Ugh, it REEKS of middle-aged artistic confusion)
Iron Maiden - Virtual IX (No freaking comment)
Queensryche - Everything post-Promised Land

Pink Floyd - The Delicate Sound of Thunder *zzzzzzzz* It just seems cold and lifeless to me without Roger.
Rush - Roll the Bones - The "rap" in the title track makes me cringe
everytime I hear it. They totally lost me at this point. I enjoy prog
as much as the next guy, but using the word "parallax" in a rap? Come
on, Neil.
Yes - Big Generator - Rabin showed such promise with 90125. This just depressed me.
Genesis - Invisible Touch - Ouch, just... ouch.

- King Crimson Island (an island in the ocean of KC music)
- Genesis Calling All Stations (they should rather change the name of the band than release it)
- Camel I Can See... (not good only comparing it to their others)
- Pink Floyd The Final Cut (boring)
- Yes Open Your Eyes (I've really opened my eyes)
- Rush Vapor Trails (nothing interesting; the most tragical sound quality I've ever heard)
- Kate Bush The Red Shoes (the same reason what Camel is)

Genesis - And then there were three - They should be ashamed of themselves.
Yes - Drama - I really tried to like it but it still tastes and smells like liver.
ELP - Works Vol. I - A true waste of recording tape.

Well the most horrible album I have is without a doubt Big Generator by Yes, but since I'm not a big Yes fan it hardly qualifies as "worst album by your favorite band". My favourite band is Magma and the among the reasons why, is that I haven't heard anything from them that qualifies as bad. (never heard anything from them that is less than brilliant actually, I havn't heard "Merci" yet though, and not excactly looking forward)
My second favourite is probably Peter Hammill/Van der Graaf Generator, and as far as I'm concerned not a single "bad" album has been released with Hammill's name on it.
from the bands I really like, I dont seem to own bad albums...

The Final Cut Pink Floyd ( off cuts of themes they exhausted in the Wall )
Invisible Touch Genesis ( Phil is a good singer but somehow here he is reduced to shouting through every track except the Brazilian which was instrumental. )
Love Beach ELP only a couple of tracks has any inspiration and it has dreadful cover and lyrics
The big Generator Yes ( shouldn't have come out inder the Yes label)

PS Anyone who thinks ATTW3 is Genesis' worst album must have stopped buying Genesis there. It is not terribly prog and it has a certin sameness and some crummy lyrics but it does have some very good songwriting.
