| Why do people keep posting these irrelevant and pointless topics. What does it matter how two bands compare? In all honesty, there are very few albums/bands in my collection which sound like clones of other artists. All that matters is whether you like the music or not. On that basis, I have known of the Quatermass album since 1971 and have rated it in my top ten of all time since that time. Of Le Orme it is a matter of recent, fruitful exploration. First discovered in the last six months or so, together with many, many other fantastic Italian bands. |

| It is practically impossible to vote in this poll, because QUATERMASS published only an (excellent) album in 1970, one of the most attractive of that period, while LE ORME (that I love a lot), although with a sound very centered on the keyboards especially in their first 3 or 4 albums (like ELP and QUATERMASS), have a long discography that leaves from the '68 (more or except for) until to arrive the days, so the comparison won't stand. |
