It is very possible that your favourite is not here but remember you are voting for the track you would most enjoy listening to out of the above selection. Feel free to tell us in your reply as to which track you would have liked to see listed and of course tell us which one you did vote for!
Happy voting!

This is not fair! To make me vote for only one track of Genesis when I want to select most of the offered choices. Anyway, after beating my head to the wall I finally decided that nothing (except for a few Yes tracks...) can surpass the shear brilliance of Firth of Fifth, so that is my choice.. Allthough tomorrow I would allready probably vote for another one...

It might have been easier to ask which one I would like to hear right now. There is not one on the list that I don't thoroughly enjoy. "Can Utility" tugs at me, as well as "Firth of Fifth," but I always have to go back to "Supper's Ready." It's just so, so, good.

I had to go with "Firth". I thought of it like this: What if I had to play a Genesis song to someone who had never heard the band before? Supper's Ready might be a bit daunting. Musical Box-- well-- I remember hearing that for the first time and being pretty confused. Can-Utility might be a good choice but I think Giant Hogweed might be a better choice than that, even.

Though FoF is probably Genesis' best track ever, my own personal favourite is "Dancing with the Moonlit Knight" - one of the strongest album openers of all time, and one of Gabriel's best vocal performances. I also have a soft spot for "One for the Vine", though I would've mentioned also "Blood on the Rooftops" and "Eleventh Earl of Mar".

Great battle raging, Supper's Ready v Muscal Box v Firth Of Fifth..excellent!
I voted for Cinema Show myself as I love the feel good moments that Tony's solos provide us with.
Obviously I realised there would be many tracks not in the poll but I was trying to get an even spread of the main prog based albums and I only had 25 slots. Once the poll has run it's course I will rerun it taking out all the nil and one point finishers and replace them with others including all your 'others' suggestions!
Keep voting though, this is great to watch!

I did notice a couple of interesting facts though, Fountain Of Salmacis was felt by the Band and the record company to be one of the more popular tracks, and clearly this is not reflected in this poll.
The other thing I have noticed is that Los Endos has not picked up a single vote yet. Is this because you all see Los Endos as part of Dance On A Volcano? Would I have been better to have put them together? It just seems strange that no one has voted for it!

Incredibly I haven't voted, so I'll go with my actual top ten:
- The Musical Box: Excellent music, dramatic and imaginative lyrivs, perfect structure, has to be the best song ever.
- Can-Utility and the Coastliners: A mini Epic, you dont need 18 minutes to make a masterpíece, the keyboards are just amazing.
- Supper's Ready: The best long epic ever.
- White Mountain: A forgotten gem
- In the Cage: Probably the most emotional song ever, if you need to transmit something, Pete is the man.
- Firth of Fifth: Steve's solo pays the whole album.
- Dancing with the Moonlit Knight: If it was only for the A Caopella section, would be enough to reach the top ten but it's much more.
- Cinema Show: Great track, incredible drumming.
- Fountain of Salmacis: Imaginative track, Tony's keyboard intro uis obne of the finest moments in Prog, great lyrics.
- Watcher of the Skies: What a dramatic, obscure and aggressive intro, beautiful.

An almost impossible choice for a die-hard Genesis fan like me. I could, at various times, vote for pretty much any of these.
In the end though, I have been predictable, and gone for the obvious, the brilliant 'Supper's Ready'.
It's a pity 'Entangled' wasn't on there, or 'Blood On The Rooftops' though, or the choice would have been even harder!
