OK...don't know if this topic has been discussed. But what musicians are the worst band sluts.
Let me explain what a band slut is. Years ago, my friends and I would refer Phil Collins as a band slut because he jumped or was asked into many other bands recordings and performances. He was very good at it and I respect his accomplishments highly. But still, he was a band slut. 
Aside from Dream Theater members, all of which are band sluts, name a few others. -------------

Maynard Keenan is now in 3 bands: Tool, APC, and Puscifer, not to mention numerous collaberations including, but not limited to Rage Against the Machine, Tori Amos, and others....

I don't know whether he would qualify for that, but the whole thing just makes me think of John Wetton... Though he perhaps stuck to one band at the time, so perhaps we should rather call him a "band serial monogamist"...

Tony always seemed to me like more of a session player or a member of a touring band than a 'band slut', more of a hired gun. Brian Eno has done a lot of 'treatments' for many bands; Talking Heads, U2, Roxy Music, Robert Fripp, Robert Wyatt. John Cale, Paul Simon... the list goes on and on. ------------- My Doc Told Me I Have Doggie Head. |

I'm just a little amused by the fear of certain words that's been
evinced by this thread title and the Big Cock thread in Non-Prog Music. The idea that some words are so evil as to corrupt even when context-less is just amusingly medieval. Monogamy is overrated, anyway. -------------
