 Glitzy Cape, was its name (a webzine kinda thing), celebrating the mirth and legends of prog was its game (that and annoying the pants off of Marillion's PR team). We're gradually building up an archive of best bits at glitzyblog.blogspot.com due to popular demand. Well, that and the fact that Google no longer caches our beloved Cape. Have fun, and feel free to don your best shiny garment and become a Cape dweller. As you'll see in due course, you'll be in good company.

Tragically, the original webhost, located in a concrete bunker in the home counties, was bombed with a bunker buster sometime last year. We suspect the Marilliban... However, given the enduring fond memories people (well, some people) have of the Glitzy Cape, and the fact that we were inordinately proud of some of the better stories and gags (ego and prog mixing together... now there's a novelty), we decided to brave the remnants of said cluster bomb and harvest/blog some of the best bits. Over time (a long time - there were about 10 issues in all of the zine), we'll get most of it up (some is gone for good, sadly, such as the inaugural Fat Man of Prog column, which celebrated Steve Rothery having raised to greatness solely on a diet of fishfingers). And we'll add some more, in time, if the mood takes. But recycling old cack continuously... that's also rather prog, isn't it?!
