I haven't heard that Maneige song yet... I'm waiting to get Les Porches Live, which as been recently released on CD by ProgQuebec.  I have Ni Vent... and Libre Service, both are great.  I also have the three Harmonium albums and En Tournee and love them all too. Tongue

This question should be illegal to ask. Two perfect pieces of music from two of the best bands ever. Both are from my country also :). This is just too hard Angry

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

HARMONIUM! The musicians are much better! What about L'Heptade that is much more complex andmuch inspired?

For me they're equally good.  Maybe this particular Harmonium track is better than Maneige's, but I prefer Maneige these days and so "Les cloches..." it is for me. When my wife stated she liked Harmonium, I went off them a bit.  Maneige is amazing -- one of the all-time best Prog bands as far as I'm concerned (as is Sloche).  Great epics; both.

I have never heard Maneige, so I actually shouldn't be voting on this poll... but I bet my life Histoire Sans Parole is better than it :P

Histoire sans paroles leaves the other miles behind in my opinion. If we're talking about the band, I can't accept to choose between those Wink

RIP in bossa nova heaven.
