For Prog I would pick Livgren, his playing is exceptional on Wait of Glory.
Morse is a great guitarist but didnīt quite fill the shoes of Livgren (Kansas) and Ritchie Blackmore (Purple)

How does anyone know if Kerry or Rich played a particular part or solo of a song in the glory days?  I always thought Rich did the heavy lifting on guitar but if you asked me who did the solo on Wayward Son, I wouldn't know.  I voted Rich.

I have to go with the overall mastermind of Kansas. Not only a fine guitarist, but a nice keyboardist, as well.
