| My personal favorite prog album is Larks' tongues in aspic by King Crimson. It has such a good balance to it and so many atmospheres. I just seem to be drawn to it in a strange unseen way. It's hard to choose, but i'd go with this one! |

I appreciate the art on Scenes from a Memory more than any other in my collection, and I can surely call it my favourite album.

Very impressed you chose a Krautrock one.  I'll go for "Lateralus". Maybe my most listened to album, but it's effect remains consistantly mind-blowing. Plus that album propelled me head-first into prog metal, and intrest of the experimental sections led me to many other things. In fact, I'm gonna listen to it right now... |

well, id have to say Playing the Fool (just for the Excerpts from Octopus) by Gentle Giant, though i am a Huge VDGG fan (favs: Godbluff, and Least we can do...), but Third Reich 'n' Roll by The Residents, and Trout Mask Replica by the Beef is great...
