It's not prog, but I was just wondering... because Monster Magnet are heavily influenced by Hawkwind and in the beginning they made very psychedelic hardrock. I like their music very much, although the music they make nowadays sounds a little more like ordinary hardrock, I love their first self-titled EP. So, is there anybody in the forum who knows/likes their music? |

I see... Well, I don't know that song. I only have the Monster Magnet EP, Powertrip and some demos (called Love Monster), so I'm not a real fan, but I really like their music. It sounds like Hawkwind meets Motörhead (or Metallica) |

That's right! I remember now. That's the lyrics: "Space Lord, Mother, Mother" and then the acoustic guitar comes in with this killer riff! You're being very open about your personal life here! I'm stunned, actually |

Sorry, Music and ..............ah............. life, kinda go hand in hand. It's hard to think of any fragment of my existence that doesn't involve music. Cool, huhuhuh I'm having the same problem. I think of a certain moment in my life, for instance a book that I read, and sometimes I immediately remember what music I played during reading that book. But reading a book is something else than Come to think of it, that sounds pretty cool! Your life is complete! BTW I'm listening to 'Space Lord' at the moment. You inspired me! Now all I need is a good looking lady ... .... hm.... problem! |
