Does anyone else have this problem? I write a review or post. I check it makes sense (or so it seems at the time). I submit it and then discover that I have in fact included at least one, usually more, examples of ungrammatical, poorly spelt gibberish. I don’t know why it is (possibly fat fingers, brain and hands not working in coordination, alcohol sometimes) but I have a total inability to spot my mistakes until AFTER I’ve clicked the “Submit” button, REGARDLESS of how many times I think I’ve checked it.

I’ve probably done it here too

OK. I'm ready  and willing  to look really dumb here. What edit button? Is there one for reviews? I thought only collaborators could edit their reviews (and that's where I commit my most grievous assuaults (nope, spotted that one) ASSAULTS on the English language

in the lower left of your own posts there is an "edit" button. also i suggest you could use the latest Firefox as your browser, as i do. it has spell check which is great - for me it's already addictive.

Other members can also edit their reviews. Just click on the "Collaborators" button on the front page, then click "Your Profile and Reviews" and edit all you want. It worked for me before I made it as a collabSmile Not sure if it has changed though.

Actually it hasn't changed.

I don't know why you couldn't find it, but I followed BJ's instructions and it still works for me.

Confused

Yep, thanks,  I can see the edit button for my own posts. I am using Firefox 2.0.0.1 with spellcheck enabled but curiously it doesn't seem to have any effect.

If I click on the 'collaborators' tab on the home page I go to a screen with a button urging me to login using my forum credentials, but doing so doesn't have any effect on my ability to change reviews. No link to "Your Profile and Reviews" so it does seem to have changed. Maybe a restriction on us more recent members due to increased site traffic?

Oh, and by the way: editing reviews has worked for me from day one (7 months ago).

Oh hell's bells! I note I wrote uninihibited! See what I mean? Completely and utterly useless at checking my own drivel!
