I must confess I gave up. I made a "pick-one-from-some-of-my-faves"poll!
Neither the populars(with some exceptions...) nor the rarest things(I'd like to include some REALLY rare CDs,but then turned my head on - who'd vote for them except me? )
A rational selection -
"10 000 Days" is my fave from 2006
OPETH's second is my fave from them
GYBE's masterpiece is a Post-Rock fave
TMV's debut brought me to Modern Prog
DISCIPLINE's album is a New Symphonic fave
THE WATCH's is a best album GENESIS never did
LDF's one is an Italian Prog fave
Gabriel's LP is a surprising present from a Prog veteran
COLLAGE's amazing CD is my fave Neo album
while SCRIPT is the favouritest and the most important album in my entire life
vote.I refuse to!

Nearly impossible to pick.
Despite my obsession with Opeth, GYBE's Lift Your Skinny Fists is the defining album of post rock, and definitely will go down as an essential milestone for prog.
My top 3 of this list
1. GY!BE
2. Opeth
3. Marillion

From this company I had only 2 choices...
I´ve decided for Gabriel´s UP altough Marillion is great, too.
UP is for me one of the best album I´ve ever heard !!
It´s a complete music art and the music of the highest quality !!

no apologies allowed! This is a POLL!!!

Funny how it goes - only 1 vote for stunning COLLAGE's album and 4 for DISCIPLINE. I've NOT been including MARILLION - an obvious favourite here - but that's my fave,so I'm honest...
Nice to see so many votes for LOCANDA. Excellent album!

I like The Watch very much, actually, but that LDF album is so good. Thanks for your recommendations last year. I only have The Vacuum of the Watch anyway. Good album, but due to the title it must get the odd wag saying, "It sucks!"
