For the second time this month, as a guy from the same country, I apologize for the way that the now deleted "Peter Gabriel" chooses to expres himself. It is rather usual here, people is rather disrespectful and that sort language based on just bad words goes beyond your imagination. As a "representative", my apologies to Tony R.

No need. Your behaviour and contribution here is respected and admired, neither you nor your country can be blamed for one man's actions. I just hope he regrets it.

If I recall correctly, he just joined when he kept using a certain phrase referring to an aspect of the maternal unit that I'm not going to repeat.
Of course the site is much better off without that type of behavior. I'm sure your apology is appreciated, but I don't think you need to feel any sort of responsibility for his actions. Imagine how I'd be treated if I was linked to the behavior of other people from the US.
Anyway, keep fighting the good fight, Mr. Cuncuna

Yikes, things seem to have been a lil out of control lately. Guess that's why the admins are cracking down.
Besides, isn't it a rule everything be written in English? He broke it twice.. but you're at no fault cuncuna!

I for one despised his behaviour as he started to insult Peter (the collaborator whose last name I won't mention for respecting his identity... but you all know who I'm talking about). What ashamed me the most was that my posts were actually trying to justify his intentions. When I saw the most recent incident with Tony R I realised his intentions of being an attention-monger and his rebellious behaviour.

Sorry -- I actually thought that was your real name! Who's the real Lehto, then?
Anyway, i was thinking of taking really famous names, like Peter Gabriel, etc (some I won't name, and there have been others here in the past).
I resent having to address some snotty kid (like the recently deleted "p g" namesake) by the name of one of my fave prog heroes -- it just doesn't feel right.

I can understand that, and it's all good Peter.

Well, I guess you haven't been in a situation in wich you need your computer to really make some effort. I remember myself editing some epidodes of a local production. The PC's hard drive simply exploded, all we had left was what was stored in the G4, wich was working with no effort at all...

Yup, for web-stuff we use the Mac...... we use Macs in the office for other stuff too.... I used to use a pc for art work..... until recently when the motherboard burnt out (OUCH ) and that will be replaced with a mac..... but strangley in the office we use a pc for all database/accounts stuff.
I think there are pro's and cons of each, right now though, after my recent pc experience I am more in favour of the Mac, but six months ago when the trusteee-rusteee mac died I could've gone the rest of my life without seeing another one!

I have a G2 still running... I don't really knw what to do with it now, since things have changed dramatically regarding software and OS, but the G2 had a rough life and it is still perfect.

I wonder why he made that post? Deactivated so quickly and harshly, even though I disliked PG because he beothered me often, still, no warning? Ive been given many opportunites to stay here after mishaps, I feel a bit of guilt after seeing him get dropped like that...
Was it something he had done previously? Maybe this was a bit too harsh? He could have been intoxicated or something and just thinking it was funny?

I guess...I just feel bad for anyone who has to be kicked out so harshly, I have no recollection of PG doing anything other than that one instance...It just looks like such a cold, harsh blow to someone, I personally dont find the thread to be that big of a deal, its not as though he were involving anything truly awful or disturbing to a mass amount of people...
I think everyone should be given a second chance, especially on a prog, peaceful forum!!

He is 16... and his generation is the dumbest one. After the dictatorship, IQ reached a really low level. Artists were murdered, culture forbiden, and, as a result of that, whnever I talk to a young person of my cuontry, I just feel like shooting myself.
