Does anyone know of any good record stores for purchasing prog rock/metal CDs in NYC? I suppose Tower might carry some rare/import stuff, but I was hoping to find some independently owned stores that specialize in the genre. I am living in Iowa, not necessarily a great place to find such things. I will have a few hours in NYC after a business trip and I am hoping to score a few CDs for the flight home. I know I can buy on-line, but I enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
