I'd like to recommend an album  by an almost completely unknown progger by the name of Sebastien Gramond (of 4/3 de trio).  I wouldn't know what genre to put him in, but I think Eclectic is the best fitting, or maybe jazz/rock.  In any case, he is an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist.  He has self-released dozens of albums and deserves to be listened to.  You can download an album for free here: http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/9504/

So, if you've got a few moments give it a try!  I haven't thoroughly digested the album yet, but Long Road To Nowhere Part II sticks out in my head as a high point.

This guy is simply AMAZING.
I'm just discovering "Punk Jazz Symphony" and it is amazing. I mean, everybody on this forum must give a listen to him.
for example : http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/22080

His cd covers are quite ugly, but forget about it, there are real gems under ! (and btw I can't even say that I've listened to 5% of what he did).

I downloaded his Homeworks Vol. 1- 2001-2002 from the jamendo site a couple of months ago and it includes The Long Road to Nowhere parts 1 through 4.  I remember thinking that he was quite symphonic.  When I have more time I was planning to investigate him some more.
