Magdalena was not married to Niklas Berg, she was married to me, Fredrik Berg (played with Pär Lindh 2003- 2007).  Magdalenas voice touched everyone, and she was a fantastic songwriter. During her last year she wrote an album in Swedish. The lyrics are about life, love and the illness that was breaking her down. The last song was recorded just 9 days before she passed away. In time I will release this album with some former members of PLP and other musicians who played with Magdalena. This album will be released for the benefit of research around brain cancer.

My God, I just saw this thread and heard this terrible tragic news. Mr. Berg, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the great fortune of seeing Par Lindh Project at an event called the St Louis Keyboard Extravaganza back in 1999 which revitilized my interest in prog which had waned in the late 80s and early 90s. It was kind of a Triumvirat tribute.  I was so taken with Magdalena's beautiful sweet voice and striking looks and stage presence, I have to admit I was absolutely smitten by her by the end of the show. It was a small festival, and what was great was we were able to mingle with the band members and meet and talk to them, so I almost melted when I got to speak with Magdalena. She was so nice and congenial. The event was held in an old church with a huge pipe organ which Par Lindh played as part of the concert. The sometimes hard edged fierce music of PLP contrasted with Magdalena's heavenly voice was a perfect combination, which I will never forget. I also got to see her and PLP play 2 nights later in a smaller club, fantastic memories.

I bought a 4 tape video set of both performances which I cherish to this day.
I had no idea she was ill, I had wondered what happened to PLP as I didn't hear much news about them in the last few years.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss Mr. Berg and thank you for sharing this information with us.
