Congratulations to Easy Money on becoming a Prog Reviewer.
Congratulations too to Laplace, who was a prog reviewer, but has now become a collaborator with the intriguing title of Forum Stimulator. Laplace's role will be to encourage interesting debate in the forum through intervention in threads. Good luck!!

Teehee, thanks. =)
I hope other forumites won't begrudge my new collab status because, essentially, everyone who posts in threads not titled VR or STC are already forum stimulators. Still, I'll do my best to make the title mean something more.

Congrats to both! I'm really curious as to what a forum stimulator will do... Me, I've promised myself that I will try not to stimulate flame wars or anything of the sort.

Stimulator.... it sounds too.... well... you know....
Anyway, congratulations to both... Congratulations to Laplace, a sworn fan of DT ... I hope you manage to stimulate everybody... by any means....
(by the way: Micky is like an unofficial stimulator... he's #1 DT fan... now Laplace who's #2... any relationship between DT and the stimulator job? )

I got my point across I can see...
There's many kind of stimulus.... but physical stimuli is the most widely known... so, you understand... some rubbing... I guess Laplace doesn't want to become PA's X-rated star, so we have to think of another name... "Forum Adrenalinator", "Forum Steroidizator", "Forum resurrector".... something...

Today, we welcome to the team of collaborators two new people, both of whom have been around for a while.
asimplemistake (Dan for short) and Man with Hat (Phil for short, Hattie for some) have been appointed as the initial members of what will be the team of Site Monitors, a team of collaborators that will work on various issues - like site improvements, band championing, and other items. The exact list of tasks for this team is still being discussed, but by means of these two appointments it will become easier to finalize the team description and get things going. Apart from Site Monitoring, asimplemistake will also remain active in Unsigned Bands - which may be merged into Site Monitoring in the end.
On behalf of the admin team: congratulations and welcome, Dan & Phil.

Once again - I'm happy to announce two new collaborators, both part of the earlier announced Site Monitors team.
First, we have sean, who is already helping out in Unsigned Bands and will continue to do so in his new role. Second, we have veteran PA member fandango (Jared). Jared will focus on making more work of the Events forum - implementing a couple of ideas that will make events (as in concert, festival and so on) and event reports (as in concert reviews) a more visible part of ProgArchives web site.
Congratulations and a warm welcome to both!

Thank you everyone. I look forward to helping out as best as I can and working with the rest of the new site monitor team. I am not exactly sure what that means but if it is anything similar to being a hall monitor then the forum members will be running amok in no time.
Fifth Element, eh? I've been called "boring" many a time before, but this is the first time I have been called "boron".
And Angelo, I am just Rushfan4 or Scott. I think that "fanny" was in reference to Fandango.

haha I'm guessing you meant Hotel (as pointed out by Fanny), but I wouldn't be able to go anyways - I'm underage...
Beer and marshmellows don't sound too appetizing anyways. Since it'll be a warm and fuzzy Hotel, it can be Hot Chocolate and Marshmellows. Now that's perfect.

@Rushfan4: fanny is indeed Fandango - but it still proves the point I was making
@asimplemistake: I meant hostel - that would allow you as an underage to get in, and as he said, Fandango's got one....

you were actually on my short list of people to ask to help with HeavyProg, Bern, but you weren't around the forums for awhile and I wasn't sure if you'd have the time or interest

Now, I have a lot of free time but I don't think I could be part of the Heavy Prog team anyways. I'm not a big fan of the bands in the genre and I don't know much about it.
