I kept it small this time, to not lose focus too much as in the case of my large scope threads.
3 instrumental heavy and/or eclectic prog rock acts. All talented (one disbanded) and creative in their own way. What is your favourite way?

I guess that, since Oaknesam is (in) Symphonic, Eclectic should not mean "Eclectic Prog".

I can't say exactly what I like more. Probably Oaknesam, though moderately. Overall, as instrumental musicians, other bands are much more gifted/worthy...these four are, mostly, good to great examples.

I don't have the albums, but from what I know I like Oaksenham and Naikaku best, and they sound very musically talented to me.  I should have listened to these more before, love the music.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Regarding Oakensham's myspace site, that Gentle Giant cover of Talybont (song I never cared for) and Three Friends (which I loved) is very uninspired to my ear, whereas, say, Time Out and Rondo are much better.  Reminiscent of Avant Prog such as U Totem but not as good, in my opinion.

No idea, but this is a great way to promote these bands, very cool.

Right now:

1. Oaksenham
2. Naikaku
3. 4/3 De Trio

For some reason i didn`t enjoy a lot Esratz (sp?), but Naikaku`s Shell and Oaksenham`s Conquest of the Pacific are pleasant listenings to me.

For Symphonic-folks, those bands are great, especially 4/3 De Trio and Oaksenham.
