Is this album by Devin Townsend any good? Maybe I"m not used to his style but from what I heard is mostly just pounding drums and funny lyrics. Does it have any deeper appeal?

Also, is Terria good? I heard it was his best but haven't listened to it. What would you compare it to?

Yes, Ziltiod is good. Is it his best? Most here on PA will say no, myself included. It's a pretty interesting album though.

Terria is my favorite album of all time. I don't know if you could compare it to anything; it's pretty unique.

It's a send-up of concept albums and the progressive community's habit of taking themselves too seriously. Think Thick as a Brick, only not as timeless.

And Terria is a masterpiece.

Terria is an excellent album. I thought Synchestra was great too.

Ziltoid wasn't too bad, certainly not nearly as good as some of his albums.
