I think that Keef Hartley Band should finally be included in PA. It was in the year 2005 first time I suggested inclusion and though some initial action has been taken , nothing happened so far. If I remember well, the main dispute was regarding sub genre. May I propose to be under PROTO-PROG since Bakerloo already exists in it with its self titled sole release, while KHB deserves it far more in my opinion.

I agree in the opinion that Keef Hartley Band is a worthy candidate for PA, especially when one consider Miller Andersons time with the band!

I've heard the name and am checking youtube.  The second track I came across is "Roundabout" from 1971 (couldn't resist the title).  What a cool track.  Ah, I remember it now.

I like Halfbreed very much Smile

a forgotten issue I assume - I recommend to use the forum search engine to check older threads - sometime back in the day suggested for jazz rock - at least  they are prog related I would say ...

I've jut been listening to some Halfbreed tracks at youtube -- good stuff, and heard some real classic blues that I know well.

I just noticed that "Roundabout" (off Overdog) was included on this compilation (I'd like to get this): http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=8006 - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=8006 .  I might get Overdog as that song has very good to my ear jazz-rock fusion and blues qualities.  Looking through a past topic, it seems that it was on the to add list for JRF at one time and a bio was prepared years ago for it but it wasn't added.  But then I also see that Dick Heath spoke against the addition, so....

Anyway,a couple of topic for reference purposes:

I see that the site has become more tolerant of blues rock since then, which I think is excellent.  Based on what I've heard (just on the qualities of the music), I would think at least Related, anyway.  I think PR would be better than Proto due to the time-frame.
