| I didn't really care for it when I heard their album (act II)... it seemed a little to poppish/angsty for my taste. I might just need to give it some more listens though - there were some good parts after all. |

There's a handful of albums that while I listen to them I think to myself, anyone who doesn't like this honestly has to be an idiot. This describes The Dear Hunter's discography. They really served as a bridge for me into many different styles of music I had been neglecting. I discovered them at a time I was pretty much bored with music. I remember thinking I never get chills up my spine when listening to a song anymore, and then I hear Battesimo Del Fuoco and that pretty much changed. Anyway long rant to say incredibly original band, amazing song writer in Casey, and also very down to earth material. New material sounds great so far. Yay, fantastic music they have. Act III is simply hard to resist.
