Ok, here's round two of the Flower Kings favorite song poll.  The options above were the top 8 nominated songs.  There were a total of 36 songs nominated, the ones above received at least 4 nominations.

Please choose your favorite among these ones.

Oh and for the record, I'll start the voting out with 'I Am the Sun'.  For me it's a very inspirational song and some of the more meaningful Flower King lyrics.

My vote went to Love Supreme. It was a tough choice, but I think I'm happy with my decision.

^ I'll have to give Love Supreme another listen Cacho, you and so many of the FK fans on here love the CD and obviously with 6 nominations, Love Supreme is one of the more loved songs.

On the bright side, I just took the list of nominations and made an 8 hour long playlist from them, guess what I'll be listening to at work tomorrow?

Bah humbug.  A King's Prayer and Self-Consuming Fire were so close to being on the poll.

@Roland: A playlist for the ages to be sure! Hopefully you will find some new favorites on Monday.

The more of their music I hear ,the more I seem to crave. But I still hear TTWSYF playing in my head when the stereo is off,so I picked it. [It's the tune that grabbed me so hard , I  became a total fan]

Great poll Tom Clap.

I'm going for Stardust We Are by a whisker from I Am The Sun.  I find it difficult to find words to describe the majesty and beauty of those 2 pieces.  Both are so exceptional, and in my top 5 by anybody.  I just love the Flower Kings.

Yeah, I had a really nice time, thanks.  It was great to relax and get away from work for a while.

I can't believe how many extra posts have gone on to the FK Appreciation thread during my absence!  We really do have an appreciation society which is ever-growing!

Hope you are well buddy.

You know, I like Stardust quite a bit. But the unabashed mimicry of the Who detracts a ton for me. The same way Hamburger Concerto's taking from that one Abbey road song (She's So Heavy, I think) and Procol Harum's In Held 'Twas I taking from the States national anthem (maybe forgivable being British) just trips me up while listening.

Second time I have to agree with you ! (after PH by VDGG). By the way: are you in on the TFK devotees group (or something) ? Or are you just a passer-by ?

If I payed the right attention (and make no stupid errors like forgetting someone) the group consists of RojM30, Cacho, Roland113, The Captain, Nov, Bassman4, Zitro (?) and me. We (they) just launched about 8 topics last few months, TFK seems to be on a roll lately. Not strange, is it ?

wow, a TFK poll where "The Truth will set you free"is not winning! I consider it among Yes' weakest epics, so I'm not upset =)

It's refreshing seeing Monsters and Men tied for 1st place. Even if it's not my favorite at all from TFK, it has many brilliant moments:
_Piano intro.
_The unconventional melody after the piano intro, especially combined with the incredibly simple but powerful 2-note bass riff (crank up the volume while driving ... TUN! TUN! TUN! TUN!) :D
_When the vocals come in.
_"The More You Look" chorus
_That mindblowingly epic climax with the guitar solo, even tho I feel it should have been developed further.

How was I the only one to nominate Silent Inferno!? Furthermore, how did Minor Giant Steps get 4 nominations? Well, I pretty much love all of these songs, but I went with The Truth Will Set You Free.
