Any other fan of this great Canadian band here?

Your favorite releases?

Mine are these:

=> TRIPtych

=> Transmission

=> Interzone Mantras

=> The Edges of Twilight

And also their "Live: Intimate & Interactive" DVD, that I enjoy a lot.  Thumbs Up

Cheers,
Demetrio.

I love their first two albums, Splendor Solis and The Edges of Twilight...  These two albums I've had alot of success in turning other people onto the band.  Personally I like all their releases, but I've had a real hard time turning anyone onto Transmission.  I'm usually asked to take it out at some point, I really don't know why...

When I'm out in clubs I often play Psychopomp (using the search function type jukebox) and I've gotten alot of questions from it...  I own their discography and used to listen to them constantly, until I found this website.

I also have Jeff Martin's solo album, which isn't nearly as good I think... He has such good ideas and is a great song writer, but he really needs to relax and let other people help mix, he's such a control freak Tongue

so yeah, I'm a fan .. LOL

I've got the first two. Their problem was that after Edges of Twilight, they had established their sound & style & just kept re-upholstering it , if you like. The big guitar sound, Martin's Morrison meets Plant vocals ... so once you get the moment of perfection - Edges ... why bother with the rest.

Well besides that, I really liked how they experimented with new instruments all the time...To me it seemed when they found a new instrument to play it was always good for a new song.. so to me it was a bit more than just being a zeppelin graffiti era with Morrison on vocals band...

simply found more to them than that.  I also really like Interzone Mantras, Seven Circles and Triptych.  I'm glad I bothered with the rest and had they continued as a band I'd have those too I'm sure...

Edges is probably their best though....

As long as it's not a FauxNews sponsored TeaBag party I guess that it's ok.
