Get The Word Out - Akroasis from Sardinia in Tokyo

Electromantic Music (prog label of Beppe Crovella - arti e mestieri) is back in Japan with the band AKROASIS.

The band from Sardinia AKROASIS will perform at the well known CLUB CITTA’ in Tokyo, where the greatest Italian prog bands have already performed recently: “PFM” (CD and DVD recorded there), arti & mestieri” (have recorded there their live CD “First Live In Japan”), “New Trolls” and “Banco”.

AKROASIS will present their CD “I RACCONTI DEL MARE”, about to be released in December 2009 by Electromantic Music.

The ambitious project has been conceived and written by the famous musician Pierpaolo Meloni, consists of 12 tracks, composing a "scenic picture" each, combining music, visual performance, and dance coreography.

AKROASIS' music find its roots in rythms and sounds from their homeland Sardinia, enriching them with more Mediterranean sounds and other melodies and rythms that could be heard when listening to the sea, anywhere the listener may be.

The show is directed as for the theatrical aspect, by Rahul Bernardelli.

The video images have been created by Giovanni Coda, a Sardinian artist very appreciated internationally in the video art field.

Mimical coreographies and dance are taken care by Silvia Pintus.
