Updated: 1/01/10 Well... Another decade gone, and with it a whole new chapter of music. It was a brilliant decade and it produced some of the best albums ever made. I'm of the opinion that this decade was second only to the 70's. Allow me to issue the obligatory warning, "These are only MY favorite albums of the decade and do not stand as universally the best albums... It's opinionated." Without further a-do:

Is it Prog albums you're including or just albums in general? Mainly because Sigur Rós and Arcade Fire would be right up there for me as albums of the decade ------------- And lo, the mighty riffage was played and it was good
