Hugh Laurie as Ian Anderson
Denzel Washington as John Coltrane
..and though Val Kilmer was about as good a Jim Morrison as you could get, Kurt Russell would do in a pinch

Tom Hanks as Neil Peart!

Tom Hanks

Actually, on second thought, the whole 70s beard phase wouldn't look so great with Tom. Otherwise, the resemblance is striking. What's more, it could be a really good movie if set around the tragic Test For Echo days. Hanks can act.

With Kevin Spacey as Anderson in recent years

Although if there was a movie about Jethro Tull, it would be pointless to include scenes from nowadays

Unless there was something important about their Christmas album that would be deserving of a movie LOL

Looks like the Rush movie has potential, it'll be interesting to see if someone puts up a good actor for Alex Lifeson

It has been covered a few times already, but...

Danny Masterson

would make the best and youngest Ian Anderson.

While appreciating it was a clumsy attempt at humour, one post here has been hidden. Please remain respectful to the artists involved.
