Hi! I spent my teen years in the 70's listening to what I have now learned is Prog. Although I'm married and have a very successful career, I have always had a music room in my house in which I listen to as much music as I can. I'm always buying new vinyl ( even if it's the 3rd copy of Focus Moving Waves because I found a sealed copy from the 70's). I intuitively divided my music into prog (on one side of the room) and all the rest on the other side (Bill evans, Pat Metheney, Neal Young... and Classical - violin concertos especially and I'm a big Puccini fan). Interestingly I find myself listening to Prog about 80% of the time. I have to admit that I never really knew rock sub-genres classified as such  and all the rock that I love (Yes, Genesis, ELP, King Crimson, Focus, Camel, Jethro Tull, PFM, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Terco,..) happens to be Prog! I always felt some degree of isolation with my music in my extended listening sessions until I discovered this site. It was a revelation that there was this extremely well organized, incredibly informative site with a bunch of people who have the EXACT same feelings and preferences for music I do. I'm not alone! (I thought I was the only guy on the planet who knew about and loved Camel). And more importantly, I'm discovering great new music! Thank you for the reviews, information and education. For example, I just got tickets to see Porcupine Tree (which I had never heard of until 2 weeks ago) because I discovered it here on the site! Thank you! Welcome! I'm so glad you found us, and are expanding your horizons. This site has opened my eyes (and ears!) so much over the few years I've been a member and contributor, and I know it will do the same for you. Glad to have you here!
