Hi everyone at PA! So, I'm new to the forums but been spending ridiculously long amounts of time on this website for the last couple of months.
So... I'm from UK, I'm a girl (which seems to be a bit rare judging from some of the posts I've come across so far) and I'm into mainly symphonic, eclectic prog and RPI, also some canterbury scene and space/psych rock.
Some of my favourite bands/artists are: (the obvious ones first) Genesis, King Crimson, Van Der Graaf Generator, ELP, Yes, Steve Hackett, Camel, Caravan, PFM, Le Orme, Triumvirat, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Harmonium, Anglagard, Locanda Delle Fate, Gentle Giant, Magma, The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, Peter Hammill, Phideaux, Focus, UK, Renaissance, Transatlantic, I Giganti, Rustichelli & Bordini, Cherry Five, The Watch...
The list goes on.
Always open to recommendations to new bands or sub-genres!
Also really glad I found this site, it's nice to finally find people who share the appreciation I have for proper, decent and interesting music.

Glad to have you.
Have you tried Kansas? That's my standard recommendation.

Welcome to the site JemJem. I'm particularly a fan of the bands there I bolded, always nice to see fans of some of those join us.
