He could be RIO, jazz/fusion, or even eclectic.
But the guy belongs here.

Thanks!
Will let know to rest of the team and evaluate this band.
Do you have any samples to help evaluation?

He doesn't even have a MySpace or samples on his website. Confused

Let's see what Youtube says.

I've been going to myspace and lastfm for hearing stuff for evaluation.  So far if one doesn't work the other one will. Big smile

He seems to have 30 seconds samples on Last.fm, but what can one do with 30 seconds samples?

They do sound like some sort of Fusion, though. Let's see what the JRF team says.

I noticed my local library has got the album he recorded with Frith and other musicians. I could check this CD if it can help.

Where can we find samples?
Can someone PM me?
If it's in evaluation for Avant, I guess I should give a listen.

I just watched the movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1093824/ - Encounters at the End of the World which was co-produced by Henry Kaiser. He is also a participant as he is a skilled diver and was part of a Antarctic dive team. This guy is truly one of those rare full-lifers in the world. My only knowledge of his music is Yo Miles! What other of his titles are immediately suggested?

Oh, and the movie... Highly recommended!

Did you watch his guitar playing in the extras, on the DVD? I'd be interested in seeing what people thought about it. It's a rare example of his more conventional playing. His own composition, too. Acoustic.
